Support JobWave and gain greater visibility

JobWave Star is the optional programme that allows you to support the development and maintenance of the platform and, in return, receive a thank-you with exclusive benefits.

What is JobWave Star?

JobWave Star is an optional service designed for those who wish to contribute to the maintenance and evolution of JobWave.it. Star status is not required to post listings or browse job offers: the platform remains entirely free for all users.

Available Star plans

Benefits of Star status

When you have an active Star status, your listings published in the last 180 days enjoy the following benefits:

• Star Badge visible on all your listings.
• Homepage showcase: your listings can appear in the section dedicated to Star users.
• Greater visibility in search results.
• No notices on listings older than 90 days.
• Reactivation of contacts on listings older than 90 days.
• Advanced push notifications for new listings in subscribed categories (App only).

The showcase displays only one listing per user at a time, chosen at random among eligible ones. JobWave does not guarantee fixed positions, number of views or contacts.

How to get Star

On the website

After logging in, click the "Become a Star" button and choose the amount you wish to donate. Transactions are securely processed by PayPal. At the end of the transaction, you will be redirected to the confirmation page on JobWave.it.

On the mobile app

The app shows your current Star status and its expiry date. JobWave does not directly manage payments within the app.

Star Promo (free)

You can obtain Star Promo without making a donation:

• Go to the "Account Settings" or "Listing Management" section to find your personal referral link.
• Share the link on social media, WhatsApp, Telegram or other platforms.
• Every unique click (same IP within 60 minutes) earns you 1 point.
• Every 3 months, the top 3 users on the leaderboard receive Star Promo status for 90 days.

JobWave reserves the right to verify the authenticity of clicks and to exclude from the leaderboard users who employ illicit, automated or misleading practices.

Donations and payments

• JobWave Star is based on a voluntary one-time donation.
• No automatic renewal or recurring subscription is provided.
• You can make only one donation every 30 days per user.
• The minimum amount is €3 and the maximum is €999; the suggested amount is indicative.
• Payments on the website are processed by PayPal.
• JobWave does not store card numbers, bank details or other sensitive payment data.

Duration, expiry and transferability

• Star status lasts 30 days from the date of activation.
• Star Promo status lasts 90 days from the date of the official communication.
• Platinum Star status lasts 365 days.
• The expiry date is visible in your profile and in the app.
• Star status is personal and non-transferable to other email addresses.
• It remains valid for its entire duration regardless of how you use it.

Refunds

Once the transaction is completed and Star status is activated, no refund is provided, except in the case of:

• failure to activate Star status due to technical problems attributable to JobWave;
• a website error that prevented the donation from being correctly recognised.

Changes to and suspension of the programme

JobWave reserves the right to:

• modify the benefits, plans or conditions of the Star programme;
• suspend or terminate the Star programme with reasonable prior notice;
• manually deactivate Star status in the event of a violation of the Terms or misuse.

Is JobWave paid?

Absolutely not. Posting and browsing listings remains free of charge. JobWave Star is an optional service that does not add essential functionality and helps us keep the platform updated, secure and functional.
